VidiMaze Support
Hunt your friends through a maze on Apple Vision Pro.
Need help? Email support@submergedlogic.com. Tell us your visionOS version, the VidiMaze version (in the About sheet) and what happened.
Getting started
Do I need a controller?
Yes. VidiMaze needs a game controller to move and shoot. It works with Xbox Wireless Controllers, PlayStation DualSense controllers, and PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers. VidiMaze needs visionOS 26 or later. Pair your controller in Settings › Bluetooth before you open VidiMaze. The home screen lists every controller it can see.
How do I play?
Left stick moves, right stick turns, and either trigger or the A / Cross button fires. You get one shot in the air at a time, so make it count.
Can I play alone?
Yes. Under "Practice vs. bots" on the home screen, pick Easy or Hard. Settings › Practice lets you change the rules for practice matches.
Playing with friends
How many people can play?
Up to 8 players, each on their own Apple Vision Pro. Empty seats can be filled with bots.
How do I start a match?
Tap Play with Friends, then choose one of these:
SharePlay: start a FaceTime call with your friends first, or play with Vision Pros nearby. Voice chat happens in FaceTime.
Create Room: you get a 6-letter room code. Send it to your friends, or use Invite Friends.
Join Room: type in the code a friend gave you.
My friend can't join
Make sure everyone has the same version of VidiMaze installed. Different versions can't play together. For rooms, everyone needs to be signed in to Game Center (Settings › Game Center). Double-check the 6-letter code.
Someone dropped out of the match
Their seat waits for them. If they open VidiMaze again and rejoin, they get their seat and score back.
Maps
Can I make my own maze?
VidiMaze comes with Classic, Grand Hall and Tight Quarters. You can also import
.vidimaze map files that someone shares with you. They show up under My
Maps.
Troubleshooting
The controller doesn't move me
Check that the controller shows up on the home screen. If you have more than one controller connected, the one you used last is in charge. Try turning the controller off and on again.
I can't see the scoreboard
Drag the HUD by its handle to move it. To put it back where it started, go to Settings › HUD › Reset HUD position.
Multiplayer is acting strange
In the lobby, open Debug and tap Export Network Log, then email the file to us at support@submergedlogic.com. It only contains connection details from this session of the game.
Privacy
